POSTPONED: How to reach the climate goals while eradicating poverty?

Due to health considerations and new restrictions from Bergen Municipality, this event has been postponed until further notice

Date, time: 12th March, 16.00-18.00

Place: Den Nationale Scene (Engen 1, 5803 Bergen)

On March 12 we celebrate CMI’s 90th anniversary. We would like to invite our friends, colleagues and partners to participate in the celebrations, and hope that you will join us.

CMI has an exciting and proud history. Yet, for our 90th anniversary we choose to look ahead instead of to the past. We ask how we can solve the biggest challenges the world is facing – the climate crisis and the poverty-/inequality crisis – at the same time.

Minister of International Development Dag Inge Ulstein, Director General of Norad Bård Vegar Solhjell, Research Director Rose Mutiso at the Energy for Growth Hub, Professor Thomas Hylland Eriksen and Professor Kalle Moene et al. ask what we already know, what we need to know more about, what the dilemmas are, and how we can solve them. Journalist Håkon Haugsbø will moderate the conversation.

The discussion is open for all.
