Rethinking Academia & Learning

A central aim of LawTransform is to rethink the way we teach and learn about the role of law in social change. Together with our partners in different parts of the globe, we work to forge closer links between research, practice and teaching at different levels (PhD, MA and BA). We also strive to create more horizontal and dialogical spaces for learning, and develop and use of more experiential learning methods. A particular focus is on the development of better material and tools for training in research methods and ethics. This work is currently taken forward through our collaborative project on "LawTransform: Effects of rights and law" (INTPART 2018-2021), "Rethinking democracy & law" and our annual PhD course on "Effects of Lawfare".
