About Noam Peleg
Noam Peleg is a senior lecturer at the University of New South Wales, Sydney. Noam’s background is in law and his work focuses on international children’s rights law and its intersection with human rights law, childhood studies, and family law. In 2020, he was visiting Professor at Columbia Law School and in 2019 he published the book ‘The Child’s Right to Development’. Before moving to academia, Noam practiced law in a number of human rights NGOs, specializing in representing children in courts.
