Franklin Oduro
Dr. Oduro has extensive expertise in conflict resolution, peace building, and election management, and has worked on assuring election credibility both in Ghana and across West Africa. He has led training in Election Management for officials of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Election Management Bodies and helped to design Election Observation Training courses for the Kofi Annan International Peace Keeping Training Center. He was a Member of the Electoral Reform Committee set up by Ghana’s Electoral Commission in 2015.
Dr. Oduro holds a Ph.D in Political Science from Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada, where he specialized in Policy Analysis/Public Affairs Management and Comparative Politics, and an M. Phil and B.A. in Political Science from the University of Ghana. He has lectured on politics and development at the Institute of African Studies, Carleton University, and at the Greenhill College of the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration.
He is a member of the Governing Board of Good Governance Africa-West Africa Center, the Ghana Anti-Corruption Coalition (GACC), and CDD-Ghana. He is a Founding Member of the Association for Research on Civil Society in Africa (AROCSA).
