Helena is a 24 year-old law student attending her last year of law school at the University of Bergen, and due to graduate with a Masters’ in law next spring. During her studies she has taken a great interest in human rights law.
This spring Helena worked as a student trainee at the Permanent Mission of Norway to the UN in Geneva. Here she followed the work of the UN human rights mechanisms in Geneva, focusing on the Human Rights Council. Moreover, she had a special responsibility for issues related to civil and political rights. Finally, she is looking forward to contributing to the Bergen Exchanges on Law and Social Transformation, and hopes for many fruitful discussions.
