Maria Popova is an Associate Professor and Hiram Mills Chair at the Department of Political Science, McGill University, and is the Scientific Co-Director of the Jean Monnet Centre Montreal.

Her research interests include the rule of law, anticorruption, democratic resilience, and weaponization of law.
