Marie Topaas Storm is a graduate (spring 2018)of the master’s program in Public Administration and Organization Theory at the University of Bergen. Her master’s thesis was focused on the decision-making in adoption cases in The County Social Welfare Boards, a court-like institution where the most serious decisions in the Norwegian Child Welfare Services are made. These boards function as tribunals, where any compulsory measure or care order must be approved.
She is leader of the Cultural Committee for student organizations in Bergen, to make sure funds are spent in the best possible way for more student welfare and cultural student activities.
Marie holds a bachelor degree in Sociology as well as a bachelor degree in Public Administration and Organization Theory from the Faculty of Social Science.
