Ruben Mathisen is a research assistant and intern at the Centre on Law and Social Transformation. He is currently writing his Masters Thesis in Comparative Politics at the University of Bergen on LGBT politics and policy in Sub-Saharan Africa. The thesis investigates the drivers of criminalization of homosexuality in Zambia looking at elite opinion.
