Vilde Tøfte Øvstetun is in her final year of the master´s programme in Public Administration and Organization Theory at the University of Bergen. Her master thesis examines how the local child welfare systems in Norway cooperates and communicates with the local primary schools. The project is a case study with two cases: One child welfare located in one single municipality and one that is a collaboration between four municipalities. The thesis focuses on the organizational structures of the child welfare systems. The aim is to identify differences in how child welfare systems interacts with the local primary schools, and if these differences can be explained due to different organizational structures.

Vilde holds a bachelor degree in Public Administration and Organization Theory from the University of Bergen. Her bachelor thesis analysed the process in which the Chief of Justice are hired, and if this process violates the perspective of power distribution. Her master thesis examines how the local child welfare systems in Norway cooperates and communicates with the local primary schools. The project is a case study with two cases: One child welfare located in one single municipality and one that is a collaboration between four municipalities. The thesis focuses on the organizational structures of the child welfare systems. The aim is to identify differences in how child welfare systems interacts with the local primary schools, and if these differences can be explained due to different organizational structures.
