Wesley Maraire is a sociolegal researcher with a background in political science, sociology, and law. Wesley’s research focuses on access to justice and dispute resolution, anchored in decolonial theory.
He is currently the Research Project Manager and Communications Lead at the University of Bergen, working on two interdisciplinary initiatives. The first is Habitable Air: Urban Inequality in the Time of Climate Change, and the second is the Global Research Programme on Inequality (GRIP). Wesley is a Fellow at the Centre on Law and Social Transformation at the Chr. Michelsen Institute / University of Bergen, Norway.
