Does performance-based financing of health care work?

Time: 14.15-15.30

We are happy to announce that a highly recognized expert in health sector reform, Bruno Meessen, from The Institute of Tropical Medicine in Belgium is visiting us here in Bergen. He invites you and your network to a seminar to discuss performance-based financing of health care in low- and middle-income countries-what are they and do they work?

In his presentation, he will in particular address a new critic on performance-based financing in a newly published article (here), and further discuss if and how performance-based financing can work. Bruno Meessen warmly welcome questions from students and others from the audience both during and after his presentation.

Join us for this exciting event.

Pastry and tea/coffee will be served.
