Keynote by Alicia Yamin: Rethinking health systems beyond the pandemic

Date: 18 August 2021
A Keynote by Alicia Ely Yamin (Harvard University/BCEPS Bergen Centre for Ethics & Priority Setting) on legal determinants of health inequalities: Rethinking health systems beyond the pandemic.
The pandemic has demonstrated just how deeply flawed most of the world’s health systems are – including global health governance – and the extent to which health systems serve as drivers and catalysts for social inequality. This keynote and roundtable discusses paths towards more equitable health systems and health governance.
The keynote is followed by a roundtable discussion. Roundtable participants: Camila Gianella (Senior Researcher, CMI), Kjell Arne Johanssen (Professor of Medicine, UiB/BCEPS) and Danielle Rached (Associate Professor FGV Law School, Rio de Janeiro). Moderator: Siri Gloppen (UiB/LawTransform).
