Anna Gopsill

Coordinator of Transitional Justice seminar series

Anna is currently working as a Project Assistant with Chr Michelsen Institute. Additionally, Anna is a PhD candidate at the University of London School of Advanced Studies. Her topic is wartime sexual violence against men in Bosnia (1992-1995) and Rwanda (1994). She is examining forms of sexual violence perpetrated against men and will also look at the legacy of the Bosnian and Rwandan criminal tribunals and how they addressed sexual violence against men in their work.

Anna holds an MA in Holocaust and Genocide Studies from the University of Amsterdam and an MA in Modern History from the University of St Andrews. Her main focus was on Eastern Europe, particularly the Balkan Region. She has previously worked with Humanity in Action and Genocide Watch.

At LawTransform, she currently co-coordinates the seminar series, Transitional Justice in Norway and Beyond.
