Anna is a PhD candidate at the University of London School of Advanced Studies. Her work examines wartime sexual violence against men in Bosnia (1992-1995) and Rwanda (1994). Specifically, she examines the forms of sexual violence perpetrated against men and looks at the legacy of the Bosnian and Rwandan criminal tribunals and how they addressed sexual violence against men in their work.

Anna holds an MA in Holocaust and Genocide Studies from the University of Amsterdam and an MA in Modern History from the University of St Andrews. She has previously worked with Humanity in Action and Genocide Watch. She has also previously worked with Chr. Michelsen Institute as a project assistant, working with many different projects. Recently, Anna was research fellow at the NIOD Institute for War, Holocaust, and Genocide Studies. She is a research affiliate at LawTransform.
