Line Marie Sørsdal is a PhD candidate at the Department of Administration and Organization Theory at the University of Bergen. Line Marie has previously studied law and social policy at London School of Economics, and she has worked two years at Oslo District Court. Her research interests include children’s rights, decision-making, deliberative democracy and the cross-section between law and policy. She is currently comparing legal argumentation and justifications in care order cases in Norway, England and Finland as part of the project Legitimacy and Fallibility in Child Welfare Services: A Cross-Country Study of Decision-Making.
