This event marks the launch of the new book The Limits of Judicialization. From Progress to Backlash in Latin America, edited by D. Brinks, S. Botero and E. Gonzalez-Ocantos (Cambridge University Press 2022), analysing the role of courts in Latin America’s new constitutional dispensations. The presentation of the book is followed by a conversation with contributors to the book and to two other new volumes analysing the same phenomenon from different angles: The Oxford Handbook of Constitutional Law in Latin America and The Oxford Handbook of Caribbean Constitutions
